Setting Up Your Email
1. Open Outlook (Classic)
Ensure you are using the classic version of Outlook.

2. Go to Account Settings
Click File in the top-left corner.
Select Add Account.

3. Enter Your Email Address
Type in your full email address (e.g., yourname@example.com).
Click Advanced Options and check Let me set up my account manually.

Click Connect.
4. Select Account Type
Choose IMAP as the account type.

5. Configure Incoming Mail Server Settings
Server: ax.email
Port: 993
Encryption: Select SSL/TLS
Ensure the option “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)” is checked.
6. Configure Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Settings
Server: ax.email
Port: 465
Encryption: Select SSL/TLS
7. Enter Your Password
Type in your email account password.
Click Connect.
8. Complete the Setup
If successful, you will see a confirmation message.
Click Done to finish.
Setting Up Your Signature
1. Select the search bar at the top of the Outlook Classic window.

2. Enter ‘signature’ and select Signature under actions.

3. Select Signatures…

4. Select New and enter a name for the signature. Select OK.


5. Enter your signature into the Edit signature box. If you have requested a custom email signature from Brandicoot, open the provided HTML file and copy the contents of the file into the box.

6. Select Save.

7. On the top right side of the screen, select the email account that you would like the signature to apply to. For the New messages and Replies/forwards boxes, select the name of the signature that you just created.

8. Select OK.

9. Your signature should now be applied to your email.
Setting Up Out of Office
NOTE: This guide applies to those who use Microsoft 365 mail servers. If you purchased email with your website, please view Setting Out of Office – Webmail
1. Select File in the top left corner of the screen.

2. Select Info > Automatic Replies (Out of Office).

3. Select Send automatic replies and configure the settings for Inside My Organisation.

4. Select and configure the settings for Outside My Organisation.

5. Select OK.

6. You have now configured Out of Office.
