At Brandicoot, we partnered with Dr Elena Krylova to design and develop a calm, thoughtful, and patient-centred website that reflects her approach to psychiatry and psychotherapy.
The aim was to create a digital presence that feels grounded, human, and easy to navigate, while clearly communicating her relational and individualised approach to mental health care. The result is a website that supports trust, clarity, and ease of access for both new and existing patients.
The Brief
Dr Krylova required a website that could:
• Clearly communicate her approach to relational psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Support both in-person and Telehealth consultations
• Reflect a calm, reflective, and person-centred clinical style
• Provide clear pathways for new referrals and existing patients
• Present services and booking information in a simple, structured way
• Maintain a professional yet warm tone aligned with her practice philosophy
Our Approach
We designed the website around clarity, accessibility, and a sense of calm, ensuring the structure supports both clinical credibility and emotional ease.
Patient-Centred Structure
We organised the content to reflect the way patients engage with care, focusing on clarity and reassurance:
• Introduction to Dr Krylova’s relational and psychotherapy-focused approach
• Clear explanation of assessment and treatment services
• Integration of psychotherapy with careful and considered medication use
• Simple distinction between new referrals and existing patients
• Straightforward presentation of booking pathways
This structure ensures visitors can quickly understand how care is provided and how to access it.
Communicating a Relational Approach
A key focus of the project was to reflect Dr Krylova’s philosophy of care, including:
• Understanding each person within their relationships and life context
• Moving beyond diagnosis alone toward deeper understanding
• Collaborative, reflective therapeutic work
• Integration of psychodynamic, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches
• A steady, considered approach to medication when appropriate
The tone was carefully crafted to feel calm, respectful, and human.
Clear Services and Clinical Information
We structured the services section to clearly outline areas of care, including:
• Depression and bipolar disorder
• Anxiety and emotional distress
• Trauma-related difficulties
• Longer-term psychotherapy and psychological exploration
• Personality, relational patterns, and self-understanding work
• Combined therapeutic and medication-based treatment approaches
This ensures patients can easily understand what support is available without clinical complexity or confusion.
Bookings and Access
We designed a clear and practical bookings section to support both new and existing patients:
New referrals
• GP referral required for Medicare rebates
• Submission via online referral form
• Review process with response within approximately 10 working days
• Clear communication around suitability and appointment availability
• No medico-legal or forensic reports accepted
Existing clients
• Online booking system for appointments
• In-person consultations in Margaret River on Mondays and Fridays
• Telehealth consultations on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Clear instructions for attendance and virtual appointment access
Pricing
• Private billing practice
• Medicare rebates processed electronically
• Online payment on the day of consultation
• No cash payments accepted
Calm and Considered Design
The visual and structural direction was guided by simplicity and emotional ease:
• Minimal, uncluttered layout
• Soft hierarchy of information
• Clear reading flow across all pages
• Reduced cognitive load for visitors in distress or uncertainty
• Focus on warmth, clarity, and professionalism
The Result
The final website presents Dr Elena Krylova’s practice in a way that feels calm, grounded, and accessible. It supports patients in understanding her approach, accessing care pathways easily, and engaging with services without unnecessary complexity.
Most importantly, it reflects the nature of her work – thoughtful, relational, and deeply attentive to the individual experience of each person she sees.
