Setting Up Your Email
1. Open Outlook (new)
Ensure you are using the new version of Outlook.

2. Open Account Settings
Select the gear icon in the top right corner > Accounts > Your Accounts > Add account

If your account appears as a Suggested account, select it and click Continue. If not, enter your email address and select Continue.

4. Select IMAP as the Account Provider.

5. Fill out your account password.

6. Check the Show more slider and uncheck the Use recommended settings slider.

7. Enter the following settings:
IMAP Incoming server: ax.email
Port: 993
Secure connection type: SSL / TLS
SMTP username: your email address
SMTP password: your account password
SMTP Outgoing server: ax.email
Port: 465
Secure connection type: SSL / TLS (recommended)
Select Continue
9. Select Continue

10. Your account should now be set up.
Setting Up Your Signature
1. Select the gear icon in the top right corner

2. Select Accounts > Signatures

3. Enter a name for your signature.

4. Enter your signature into the box below your signature name. If you have requested a custom email signature from Brandicoot, open the provided HTML file and copy the contents of the file into the box.

5. Select Save.

6. Select your newly created signature in the For New Message and For Replies/Forwards dropdown boxes.

7. Select Save.

8. Your signature should now be applied to your email.
Setting Up Out of Office
NOTE: This guide applies to those who use Microsoft 365 mail servers. If you purchased email with your website, please view Setting Out of Office – Webmail
1. Select the gear icon in the top right corner.

2. Select Accounts > Automatic Replies.

3. Select Turn on automatic replies.

4. Configure the time period you would like to send automatic replies and enter the reply you would like to send to users inside your organisation.

5. Enter the reply you would like to send to users outside your organisation.

6. You have now configured Out of Office.
