Web browsers (such as internet explorer, firefox and chrome) and search engines (e.g. Google, Yahoo, Bing) are constantly trying to improve speed and functionality. Every time a new update comes through, you will notice that they are fixing bugs and adding new bells and whistles.
Is your website taking advantage of these or is it falling behind?
As your website ages, a multitude of issues can arise. Some of these issues include:
- poor performance in newer browsers.
- broken components on your site (missing images / links that don’t work).
- security holes, giving access to hackers to modify your site.
The beauty of having a website built by Brandicoot is that we keep your websites framework up to date, making sure it is performing optimally and is compatible with today’s browsers and search engines.
Not only that, by keeping your website up to date, when new WordPress features are released, you get to take full advantage of them!
The latest update saw the introduction of the New Media Library Manager. Uploading and managing your images has never been easier! The new interface is much more streamlined and allows you to create galleries faster, with drag and drop reordering, inline caption editing, and simplified controls. You can now even insert multiple images at once with Shift/CRTL + Click.
